The 2nd Annual Scandinavian Poker Awards took place last night (February 18) at the elegant Vega Nightclub in Copenhagen. Hosted by Team PokerStars Pro and poker legend Daniel Negreanu, the awards saw five highly-talented players from Sweden, Denmark and Norway receive recognition for their superb achievements.
Dozens of journalists as well as some of the world's best poker players attended the awards, staged in association with Poker Magazine (Sweden), Norsk Poker Magasin (Norway) and Ace Magazine (Denmark). Poker players and enthusiasts from all over Scandinavia voted online to select their favourite players from each represented country, with the jury then choosing the overall winners.

Best Online Player - Jonas "Nebuchad" Danielsson, Sweden - award presented by EPT Season 3 Copenhagen winner Magnus Petersson
Best Female - Annette Obrestad, Norway - award presented by William Thorson
Rookie of the Year - Trond Erik Eidsvig, Norway - award presented by Thor Hansen
Best Performance - Annette Obrestad, Norway - award presented by PokerStars Nordic blogger Lina Olofsson
Lifetime Achievement Award - Thor Hansen - award created and presented by Daniel Negreanu
